Our Approach to Web Development
While Stovin handles the creative, SEO and marketing side of projects, we currently outsource much of our technical web development to We Are Formed (weareformed.com).
Our experience is that communication with them can sometimes be difficult because they primarily communicate by email rather than telephone. For a creative and marketing agency, there are occasions when being able to pick up the phone and discuss a project would make the development process easier.
That said, we continue to work with them because we consider them to be a good web development and hosting company. They provide the technical expertise and infrastructure behind our websites while Stovin concentrates on design, marketing, SEO and the overall direction of each project.
The Long-Term Stovin Vision
As Stovin grows, our ambition is eventually to bring web development in-house.
Ideally, I would like to work alongside a long-term partner who is also a talented web developer and can become part of the Stovin team. Combining creative design, marketing, SEO and web development under one roof would give us greater control over projects and make communication between design and development much faster.

Until we reach that stage, outsourcing development allows Stovin to concentrate on what we do best while working with specialist developers to turn our ideas and designs into functioning websites.
