The Journey to Water World: Leaving the Oil Economy Behind
In my spiritual story, Allah and Father gave me a mission: build a spaceship and travel to Water World.
The old world represented an oil-based economy. We had consumed and exhausted too many of its resources, and continuing along the same path no longer seemed sustainable. It was time to imagine somewhere new.
Water World represents a fresh start: an economy focused on water, renewable energy, growing food, conserving resources and producing more of what we need sustainably.
Preparing for the Journey
You don’t leave one world and travel to another without supplies.
In my story, I borrowed some money so I could buy enough food and essentials to see me through the journey. The borrowing wasn’t supposed to be the new economy—it was a temporary bridge between the old world and the new one.
The important principle is that borrowing still has to be repaid. A fresh start only works if the new system is sustainable rather than simply creating another cycle of debt.
So I stocked the spaceship, prepared for the voyage and set a course for Water World.
A New World, a New Economy
When I arrive, I want to start again with new prices.
Rather than allowing prices to be dictated simply by what things cost in the old economy, I want to look at what it genuinely costs to provide a product or service, what customers can reasonably afford, and what allows a business to survive.
For my business, that means reviewing prices from the ground up.
Some services may become cheaper. Others may need to cost more. The objective isn’t simply to have the lowest prices—it is to establish prices that are realistic for customers while still covering the cost of doing good work.
From Oil to Water
The spaceship and Water World are symbols of transition.
Oil represents the old system. Water represents renewal.
Instead of endlessly consuming finite resources, the Water World philosophy asks what we can grow, reuse and replenish. Grow food. Collect and conserve water responsibly. Use renewable electricity where practical. Reduce waste. Repair things instead of automatically replacing them.
And in business, build something that can sustain itself rather than depending indefinitely on borrowed money.
I can’t literally leave the planet and start again, but I can change how I live and how I run my business here.
That’s where my journey to Water World really begins.
